WHAT AN EXTRAORDINARY MAN!!
Daniel Martin Baggenstos arrived in Pt. Townsend, WA, on October 18, 1949, to Arnold and Betty Baggenstos. He
departed from Chelan, WA, on March 25, 2009, at home with loving family at his side. His passion was finish
carpentry, some of which he included in the many custom homes and businesses he built in his career as a general
contractor and owner of Baggenstos Homes. His love of family is legendary. His love of community is attested to in
his volunteer firefighter status in Chelan. An avid fisherman, camper, hiker, counselor, coach, scout leader,
teacher, basketball player, horseshoe player,
Dan is survived by his wife, life partner and sweetheart, Leslie (Brinkman); Father, Arnold; 5 children, Bryan (Melinda), Nicholas, Jesse, Aaron and Julia. Grandchildren, Tyler and Katelen. Brothers Dave (Barb), Rick (Dinah), Carl (Loretta), sisters Linda Hansen (Paul), Becky Kappler (Larry), Gwen Wagener, Jane Lane (Gregg), many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, stepbrothers and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty.
A celebration of life for Dan will be held at the Monroe LDS Ward, 17332 Tester Road, Monroe, WA., 98272. The celebration will commence at 1 PM on April 18, 2009.
